Handcrafted Wooden Tree Family Decorations — Walnut, Maple, Cherry & Beech

These started as a holiday tradition in our own home. They ended up staying out all year.

Each tree is hand-shaped in our Burlington, Ontario workshop from carefully selected hardwood — walnut, maple, cherry, or European beech — chosen for its grain, its character, and the way it catches the light. You choose the woods and sizes to build a grouping that means something to you: one tree for each person in your family, a mix of woods to show the different generations, a small forest on a mantle or a windowsill.

They look as good in February as they do in December.

Six sizes to mix and match:

• X-Small — 3" tall
• Small — 3.5" tall
• Medium — 4" tall
• Large — 4.5" tall
• X-Large — 5" tall
• XX-Large — 6" tall

Available in four woods:

• Maple — light, fine grain. Clean and classic.
• Walnut — rich chocolate-brown. The most visually striking.
• Cherry — warm pale pink that deepens to reddish-brown over time.
• European Beech — tight, fine grain. Warm and understated.

Can I mix wood types in one grouping? Yes — and that's exactly the point. Mixing walnut, maple, cherry, and beech lets you build a scene with real visual depth. Many people choose different woods to represent different family members or generations.

What size should I choose to represent an adult versus a child? There's no rule — it's entirely personal. A common approach is to use the larger sizes (X-Large to XX-Large) for adults and the smaller sizes (X-Small to Medium) for children, then add a new small tree when someone new joins the family. But we've seen beautiful groupings that break every convention.

Are these only for Christmas? No. They were designed as holiday pieces but most of our customers keep them out year-round. On a mantle, a shelf, or a windowsill they work as everyday home décor that happens to mean something.

Can I add more trees as my family grows? Yes — that's one of the things we love most about them. Start with your current family and add a tree when someone new arrives. Each new tree will be hand-shaped to match the style of the ones you already have.
